MoneySupermarket's Secret Santa

I was contacted a few weeks ago by a lovely chap at MoneySupermarket asking me if I wanted to take part in a bloggers secret Santa event. They would pair up bloggers and send them both £25 to spend on a gift for the other person. I thought it sounded like a novel idea and having never took part in a Secret Santa before, I thought 'why the heck not'. There was an added incentive of possibly winning an iPad - pretty nice eh?

I was paired with Tim over at MildConcern.com. I'll admit this came as a bit of a shock for both me and him. I talk about cosmetics and fashion. Tim reviews and chats about films. I've been on MildConcern.com and I must admit, I've found myself chuckling and thoroughly enjoying reading entries on the site, but everyone likes films, right? I wonder what Tim must've thought when he saw my screen name and then actually saw what my blog was all about. I highly doubt he finds anything of interest in my entries about MAC Cosmetics and the latest collection at Evans! It appears as though perhaps MoneySupermarket just saw that he reviewed films and I had the word 'Film' in my screen name. Perfect match, obviously!

I have come to the conclusion that buying a gift for someone who you've never met is almost impossible. I found myself browsing online shops with a blank face. If I end up buying something for him that gives him even a mere seconds worth of entertainment, I will class it as a success. Tim, I apologise in advance.

Tesco F+F True Plus Size AW 2012 Range - They want your opinions!

Hey everyone! First, I need to say sorry for the static in the voice recording of this video. I don't have a professional mic so it doesn't sound too great.
Anyway, today I'll be talking about the brand new Clothing at Tesco F+F Autumn / Winter 2012 range that should be hitting their website next week.

I like a few of the pieces, but think I'd need to try them on first before buying them.

Here's the good part... They want YOUR opinion on these photos too. Will this collection make you take a closer look at clothing at Tesco?  Was there a piece you loved? A piece you hated? Let them know! Now's your chance :)

Firmoo Glasses Review

Today I'll be reviewing Firmoo, an online glasses retailer. I was contacted by the company to do a review for them. I was sent one pair of glasses to review and the second pair I bought with my own money to test out the shipping time etc.

You can buy glasses FROM RIGHT HERE! And get your first pair for free! Just pay for shipping.

When you receive your glasses they will come in a rubbery slipcase and then inside a hard plastic case. I got two different designs of the hard case as you can see bellow.

First we have these glasses which are lovely! They're black and lime green. These stuck out to me because they were bright and funky. They're a little bit big for my face, but I still think they look alright. I'll still wear them.

This pair of glasses isn't available in this colour anymore (at the time of this post) but this is the same design, but in  a different colour - http://www.firmoo.com/eyeglasses-p-1837.html

The second pair are the ones I bought myself. They're my more usual style of glasses and I think these ones suit my face more than the others. Both pairs are really well made so thumbs up!

This pair are still available and can be found here - http://www.firmoo.com/eyeglasses-p-1862.html#2508

I go into way more detail about Firmoo and their offers on my youtube channel. Here is the video:

Haul - Famous Cosmetics, Ion, Daniel Sandler, imPRESS nails, OPI

Hey guys! In todays video I'll be showing you some times from Superdrug and Sally's. At the end there's also another video about the free Leighton Denny full size nail polishes that you get free with Harper's Bazaar magazine.

The new re-branding of Famous (Formerly known as Famous By Sue Moxley) is one that I really like. The five shadow palettes are very handy to have and the eyeshadows themselves are lovely, pigmented and creamy. There is a Leopard set also that includes loads of eyeshadows that compliment each other wonderfully. I also picked up a mascara (I'll admit, mainly because of the packaging lol) and it looks quite nice. Also shown is one of the Merged Eyeshadows in shade 1. This is another product I've always loved by the Famous brand.

Also I show a few things I picked up from Sally's, mainly items from the brand Ion. There are shampoo and conditioner formulated especially for red hair and the wodnerful Intensive Drench which is fantastic if you want the softest of soft hair. It makes your hair super shiny too.

There's also a Tangle Teezer and a Nicki Minaj OPI polish that was on sale :)

Nail Polish Mania!

Today certainly has been a nail polishy day! Everywhere I turned there was another nail polish. I headed off to work and in my dinner break I went into Boots to see if they actually had the Barry M Nail Effects nail paint. Luckily they did! I also picked up the new Mushroom shade.

It fits! It actually fits!!

Following on from my posts of plus size shapewear and plus size clothing, today I'm going to be chatting to you about ladies plus size lingerie. If like me, you find it difficult to find bra sizes that actually go up to your cup size then Marisota is certainly a place for you to check out. I sometimes get disheartened when I go into some stores where I simply cannot get a bra to fit me in the cup size or in places like Evans where the back size is always too big for me as they start at a 40, so I sometimes end up buying bras that are plain or boring (and I'm certainly not into plain and boring!) because they are all I can get. Marisota, however, is different. You can get bras that are not only pretty, but go up to an L cup and 56 back size, so no matter what size you are, you'll be able to find a bra that fits.
As with my previous posts, here are a few items that I'm particularly keen on.

Just look at how pretty this is! It's a beautiful chocolate colour with pinestripe detail, but to add a little bit of fun to it, it has the pink bow and paisley style detailing to it. It has thick straps to it's guaranteed to give you support no matter what your size. It's also currently on sale at £21.70.

Once again, this is such a pretty bar. It's perfectly feminine and is designed for a perfect fit. I love the pink flower details around the top and of course, the little bow in the middle. It's currently on sale at £29.00 and it is available in a whole host of different sizes.

This is a beautful classic black bra with a bit of sheer material to give it a bit of a cheeky, sexy twist. I love the scalloped edged cups and flower detailing on the mesh and of course, the lace bow.

If you're on the look out for some value sets of bras where you can get two bras for pretty much the price of one, you can grab yourself one of these packs! This set from Shapely Figures features two bras for as little as £18. These are ideal for me as I love teal and the little heart print design is just gorgeous!

So if you're on the lookout for a bra that will actually fit, Marisota is a great place to check out before having to leave stores disappointed. Also, you'll get 20% off your first order if you sign up. Nice!
