GLOSSY BOX for September 2011
Today I received my second ever Glossy Box. I'm much happier with this box that I was with the last. Here is what I got in my box.








All in all, I'm much happier with this box. I will actually be using every product in this box instead of the one or two that I actually used in the last box. Thumbs up Glossy Box. You've redeemed yourselves!
NOW.. To the hauling!

I got this amazing Sugarpill Cosmetics Trio Chromalust set. I had no idea that these things even existed until I looked on Genie Cosmetics' website. I was really happy with the set because I was going to buy Birthday Girl (The pink colour) and Darling (the teal colour) anyway. Tiara is a beautiful colour too so I'm impressed. For £18.99 I think the set is a bargain as they usually retail at just over £8 each!

And finally this one is Darling. I like this one the most. Beautful teal with shimmer.

I also got these clip in hair extentions from Blue Banana. I know they scream scene kid, but THEY'RE LEOPARD PRINT!


This Revlon Kabuki brush was a bargain at only £2.99!


These false eyelashes were only £1.99 each and I think they're very, very pretty.


I got this Bodyology Crushed Pearl Créme in the shade Bora Bora for only £2.99. I'll probably use this as an eyeshadow base. It's such a beautiful colour.


I also bought two samples of INAZ cosmetics pigments. This one is called Power. It's a stunning bright purple with glitter.


This is another INAZ pigment. I believe it's called Victory (I'm not sure, the sticker on the bottom doesn't seem to fit all the name on.)

New Look haul & Laura Geller

Hey everyone! Today's blog post will be split into two parts. First we have a little mini review of my thoughts on the Laura Geller set I talked about in the last post.

*The foundation is rather nice. It evens out the complexion nicely and really does brighten the appearence of your skin. The porcelin shade actually suits my skintone! I find it almost impossible to find a foundation that is light enough for me, but this one if perfect! The only downside that I can find is if you have any spots or zits, it will not cover them that well, which is a shame, but it to be expected from a powder foundation, I suppose.

*The lipstick is beautiful. So creamy and the colour is a beautiful nude. Perfect.

*The blush, highlight and bronzer trio is delightful. It's so easy to sweet a brush over all three colours and do all three at the same time. It looks brilliant on.

*The eyeshadow duo is also lovely. I prefer the lighter shade to the darker one, but both colours are really wearable and I'm looking forward to applying them both wet and dry.

*The mascara is a bit of a disappointment, to be honest. It does very little to lashes apart from colours them. It doesn't fan the lashes out or make them look longer. They're just... there. It does, however, tint your eyelashes black, which is a nice little selling point.

So there we go!

Secondly I took a journey into New Look today and I picked up a couple of things.


I bought this really cute little Leopard bow headband. I always buy these things but for some reason never wear them that often, but I think I'll be wearing this one :)


I also got this really cute leopard print hiar grip because my hair is finally long enough to put it in my hair.


I saw this star print top and I just fell in love with it straiight away. It's a silky feel top that flares out at the bottom and goes down a little at the back. Pretty!


I also got these deep red jeans. I just fancied something a little different to my black or blue jeans and these just looked like a cute colour. They're a little long for me, but that can soon be sorted out with some sewing skills haha.


I'm also currently loving this nail varnish. It's Hard Rock by Rimmel. Love it!

Haulage!

I picked up the Pantene Colour Protect & Volume shampoo & conditioner because I adore them and I'm currently running out. Two for a fiver in Superdrug. Nice. I got the V05 Elixir to help nourish my hair after dying it and the Nivea lip balm is from the Poundshop. Bargain.


I got this BeautyUK lipstick and I adore the colour. It's a pretty bright baby pink colour. The shade is called 'Candy' and it's matte. There's another shade called Innocence that is a similar shade but it's not matte, more a creamy finish. I wanted to get Innocence but they were sold out so I got this one instead. At £3.49 you can't go wrong for a lipstick, can you?



I got the Revlon Nail Growth treatment from the Poundshop because my nails tend to break quite a lot and I picked up another tub of my La Riche Directions hair dye in the colour Fire. I adore it. It's a reddy-orange.


I got these two beauts from Primark. They're a bangle and headband that have really pretty feathers on them. Bargain at only £1.50 & £2.50!


I got these Me Me Me eyeshadows from the Pountshop for £1 each! They used to retail for around £4 so a quid is a good buy, I think! Such pretty colours too.


I grabbed this Sleek Make Up Luminaire Highlighting Concealer from Superdrug for £6.49 (I think that's how much it was) It seems rather good, but we'll see!


I got this lovely neon pink bracelet from Primark for only £2!


These pretty sequin shoes are from Primark and were only £6!


I LOVE these pumps that I got from Primark. I love the buckle detail and they seem so comfortable. At £8, I think they're a good buy.

I also dyed my hair yesterday. I'm BRIGHT again!

X Factor Tour - Sheffield Motorpoint Arena - 02/03/2011 & Matt Cardle signing
